The Data Science and Engineering specialization is designed to train high-level executives capable of designing, building and deploying infrastructures and systems responsible for collecting, storing, analyzing and interpreting a wide range of data, in order to generate appropriate responses in real time in heterogeneous and evolving application contexts.

Training description
SD - Data Science track
At the interface of mathematics and computer science, the SD program draws on the skills of the LITIS laboratory's "Learning", "Quantum" and "STI" teams to train engineers and researchers in data science for a wide range of sectors, including software publishing, internet and e-commerce, public services, automotive, high-tech industry, finance and biomedical. The professions concerned include data analysts (data scientists) and database administrators, as well as research and R&D professions in statistical learning, data management, data extraction and data mining. The number of applications for these professions is currently booming.
