Biosketch:
After a Master degree with honor from the University of Rouen (France), I received my PhD at Rouen University in 2009 under the mentorship of Dr. Vincent Levacher, working on the development of new catalytic enantioselective protonation reactions. Afterwards, I joined the group of Prof. Shū Kobayashi (Tokyo University) as a JSPS fellow, working on asymmetric catalysis using alkaline earth metal complexes. Then, I joined the group of Prof. Magnus Rueping (RWTH-Aachen) as a postdoctoral fellow working on the design of new photocatalyzed reactions. In 09/2011, I was appointed as a “Maître de Conférences” (Associate Professor with tenure) at INSA ROUEN NORMANDY and I defended my habilitation in December 2015. In 2017, I was nominated as a Junior Member of the “Institut Universitaire de France” and since 2018, I am Full Professor of Chemistry at INSA ROUEN NORMANDY UMR 6014 COBRA, FRANCE. My research interests focus on the development of new methodologies, metal-catalyzed reactions, with a strong emphasis on copper chemistry, electron transfer based reactions, asymmetric catalysis and fluorinated molecules.
